Foundation and Key Stage One Update

Dear Parents,

Thank you very much for sending such a fine range of fruit and vegetables in to school for Fruit and Vegetable Week. The children really enjoyed trying new tastes and flavours and we hope their interest in healthy foods will continue.

The children in Reception and Pre-reception have been enjoying their outside play but would like some more wheeled toys to play on. We are waiting for some new toys to come from UK but if you have an old bicycle, tricycle, car, scooter etc that you would like to donate we would be happy to take it off your hands. Perhaps you have toys that are too small for your children but would suit our three to five year olds. Please get in touch with Mrs Darlington, Mrs Power or Mrs Hatfield if you can help.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Wet Day in Saudi Arabia - rainy day poem by 2 Blue

Oh what a horrible morning 26th November turned out to be! The first job of the day was drying socks in the tumble dryer! However we decided it was a good opportunity to write a rainy day poem, so here is what 2 Blue wrote this morning!

Rain
Dark, black, grey clouds
Crackling with lightning.
Boom, bang, bash
Crish, crash, flash!
Drip, drop, pitter, patter,
Falls the pouring rain.
Soaking wet children
Paddling through puddles.

And we hope for a dry day tomorrow!

Foundation and Key Stage 1 - Wednesday Assembly

Every Wednesday morning we start the day with an assembly to celebrate children's achievements and birthdays.

Certificates are presented - this week children were awarded certificates for presenting their work neatly.

Children show examples of good work that has been done during the week - we had some wonderful animal camouflage pictures, some dinosaur skeletons and handwriting to look at today.

We celebrate the birthdays of children who have had their special day during the week.

Please follow the link to see photographs from this week's assembly.
